The Swine Flu has presented itself as a major test for the administration in Washington. No it’s not 1975 and the inept Ford administration, it’s 2009 and the grossly inept Obama administration.
Here we have yet another test of President Obama’s leadership team and once again the failures are glaring.
This far thousands of cases of Swine Flu have been reported in Mexico and well over 5% of those have died, yet Obama’s crisis team has failed to take decisive action. For a man who firmly believes in government intervention in almost every aspect of society it is truly perplexing that Obama has failed to intervene where it is entirely Cobstitutional and appropriate.
One need only ask the president why appropriate precautionary steps aren’t being taken. Why are tracelers from Mexico not being screened? Why does the border remain open? If ever there were a time to secure our extremely porous border this is it, but alas the savior of our republic has proven yet again that he is nothing more than the key to our undoing.
