There is no question that with each passing election, this country moves further and further to the left. With the potential election of Barack Obama as President of the United States, this 100 year transition from a free market, self-reliant country to centralized Marxist state will be virtually complete. There can be little doubt, given Obama’s associations and public professions that Obama embraces Marxist philosophy.
Obama’s statement to ABC’s Charles Gibson that its “fairer” to raise taxes even if it means less government certainly highlights Obama’s view that wealth belongs to the state, not individuals. This certainly was confirmed when Obama told Joe the Plumber that he wants to “spread the wealth around,” which further confirms Obama’s belief in the supremacy of the state at the expense of individual rights, especially when it comes to the fruits of our own labors. This Marxist connection is concealed in colorful messages of “Hope” and “Change.” To be certyain change is on the horizon…the change is more akin to that of Soviet Russia than what we are used to in America.
