Well this chart certainly says it all…George W. Bush is the biggest spender since LBJ, a revelation that should comes as a surprise to absolutely no one…so much for the concept of being a fiscal conservative.

That’s a matter that’s up for debate, but one fact cannot be debated: politicians on both sides of the aisle simply cannot be trusted as stewards of the public money and with a constantly expanding federal government we can certainly expect more of this trend with just about every candidate vying for the top job in the 2008 election.
