Leave to the Germans to mix Christianity and pornography. A Christian youth group in Germany has come up with a new method to attract young Germans to the flock. Their solution: perversion. The group based in Nuremburg, came up with the idea to put together a calendar depicting events in the Bible, each image having blatant sexual overtones. What’s even more amazing is the fact that church leaders appear to condone the practice.
“It’s just wonderful when teenagers commit themselves with their hair and their skin to the bible,” one German pastor noted. Now we recognize that most people in Europe today are avowed atheist, but is this really the appropriate solution? Participants argue the calendar is designed to interest young people. Yes it will interest young people, but interest them in what? Will it interest them in serving god or loving one’s neighbor? No it will interest these perverts in sexual exploitation of women, women who are too ignorant to know when they are being exploited in the first place. Great job!
